Zirconia Crown

Zirconia is made from zirconic dioxide (ZrO2). It is often referred to as “white metal” zirconia. It eliminates decayed teeth, and is used in other branches of medicine. It is considered the best material in dentistry.

Nowadays, zirconia is known as an extra tough ceramic material. It is remarkably strong for use with bonds of crowns and other teeth.

All-Ceramic Crown and Zirconia Crown (Occlusal)

In order to strengthen teeth, an occlusal is
used on zirconia crowns, particularly on
the front teeth and cusp (an elevation or mound on
the crown portion of the tooth only). The dental treatment involves a lower jaw zirconia crown and the generation of an esthetic ceramic CAD/CAM molar crown.

Ceramic Hybrid Restoration

The restoration of teeth with a ceramic or resin ceramic hybrid solves many different problems. It is metal-free, and thus satisfies the needs of patients with metal sensitivities or allergies. Discolored teeth can also be whitened.

Composite resin dental fillings can whiten teeth and make for a very natural looking smile. They can, however, discolor over time, get worn out, and the crowns may cause problems with your bite with this procedure. Most dental insurance plans cover this.

Ceramic hybrid restorations are much stronger and brighter and the color on the crowns is permanent.
